Issue Description

An image transmission error occurs during regular use of a drone, such as mosaic, ghosting, or stuttering.

Possible Cause of Issue 1: Firmware Incompatibility

The aircraft's firmware, remote controller, and app are incompatible, leading to an image transmission error.

Solution

Update the firmware of your aircraft and remote controller to the latest version using the latest DJI GO 4 or DJI Fly app.

Possible Cause of Issue 2: Image Transmission Interfered by Environmental Signals

Environmental signals, such as radio signals, may affect the transmission link and interfere with the live view.

Solution

Check the current channel status in the app, and it is recommended to choose “Auto” instead of “Manual” mode. The device can automatically select the optimal channel when in Auto mode. If substantial environmental interference exists, please try flying your aircraft in a different place (except for densely built-up areas) to see if this issue remains.

   · To view the channel status in DJI Fly, enter Camera View, tap “...” at the upper right corner, and go to the “Transmission” module.

   · To view the channel status in DJI GO 4, enter Camera View, tap “...” at the upper right corner, and tap the “HD” icon. (Tap the Wi-Fi icon when connecting via Wi-Fi.)

Possible Cause of Issue 3: Poor Display Performance

The display performance is not good enough, or the mobile device is malfunctioning, thereby affecting image transmission. For example, the mobile device is incompatible with the remote controller or aircraft.

Solution

If the mobile device is overheating or the app interface is laggy during regular operation, the mobile device performance is not good enough. In this case, restart the app. If the issue remains, try again using a mobile device listed in the Compatibility List. (To check the Compatibility List, go to the Download Center, and select the related app in the navigation bar on the left.)

Possible Cause of Issue 4: Image Transmission Module Malfunctioning

The image transmission module of the aircraft is malfunctioning.

Solution

Check whether the raw materials stored in the microSD card or internal storage are flickering or laggy.

1. If the raw materials are normal, but this issue still occurs in the live view or cached videos, please troubleshoot using the solutions above. However, if this issue remains after going through the solutions, please send the remote controller back to DJI for testing and click here to submit an Online Repair Request.

2. If the raw materials are also flickering, please export the materials and feel free to contact DJI Support.
