Osmo 360
The camera needs to be activated via DJI Mimo when it is used for the first time. Click here to download the app.
Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on the mobile device. Open the DJI Mimo app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect and activate the camera.
Osmo Mobile Series
Before Osmo Mobile 8, Osmo Mobile 7P, Osmo Mobile 7, Osmo Mobile 6, Osmo Mobile SE, Osmo Mobile 5, Osmo Mobile 4, and Osmo Mobile 4 SE are activated, they can be used as stabilizers. Since it is unable to use DJI Mimo app for gimbal self-check, problems such as gimbal spinning and jitter may occur. To ensure the normal use of the Osmo Mobile series product, it is recommended that you activate it before use.
Osmo Action Series
After an Osmo Action series camera is powered on, the display screen prompts " Scan the QR code to download DJI Mimo and connect to camera unit to activate ", and "Skip (remaining times: 5)" is displayed underneath.
The number of times that you can use the Osmo Action series product without activation is reduced by one each time you power on and then power off the camera. After five trials, you need to connect to the DJI Mimo app for activation before use.

Connecting Osmo Pocket 3 to a Mobile Phone for Activation
1. Press the Shutter button briefly, or rotate the screen to activate the camera.
2. Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on the mobile device.
3. After launching the DJI Mimo app, tap on the camera icon on the home page to connect the camera. Follow the on-screen instructions for further steps.

DJI Pocket 2 & Osmo Pocket
When using a DJI Pocket 2 & Osmo Pocket for the first time, you need to power it on, connect it to a mobile device through a smartphone adapter, and download the DJI Mimo app in the mobile device to activate the product before use.
