Osmo Pocket Series

Issue Description

1. There is no response when tapping the shutter button on the app.

2. There is no response when pressing the shutter button on the product.

 

Possible Cause of Issue

If there is no response when tapping the shutter button on the app:

1. The microSD card is incompatible, or there is an error with the microSD card.

2. There is an error with the app.

3. The shutter button is malfunctioning.

 

Solution

Update the DJI Mimo app to the latest version, and restart the app. Then use a microSD card compatible with the Osmo Pocket series product. Go to “Specifications” on the Product Page of the DJI official website to learn about compatible microSD cards.

If the microSD card is compatible, please save the photos/videos already on the microSD card, format the microSD card, and insert it into the Osmo Pocket series product again.

* If possible, try to use another microSD card.

* Formatting the microSD card using the DJI Mimo app as follows:

 

Possible Cause of Issue

1. A firmware error causes this issue.

2. The product’s shutter button is malfunctioning.

If taking photos/recording videos still fails after changing or formatting the microSD card and after a firmware update, please contact DJI Support for help.

 

Osmo Action Series

Issue Description

1. There is no response when tapping the shutter button on the app.

2. There is no response when pressing the shutter button on the product.

2. There is an error with the app.

Solution

Osmo Mobile Series

Issue Description

1. There is no response when tapping the shutter button on the app.

2. There is no response when pressing the shutter button on the product.

3. The captured or recorded photos/videos cannot be saved.

 

Possible Cause of Issue

If there is no response when tapping the shutter button on the app:

1. There is an error with the DJI Mimo app.

2. There is an error with the Bluetooth connection.

 

Solution

1. Update the DJI Mimo app to the latest version.

2. Reset the Osmo Mobile series product's Bluetooth, and reconnect it.

* If possible, try to use a mobile device with a different operating system for connection (For example, use an iOS device if the mobile device used was an Android device or vice versa).

 

Resetting Bluetooth:

Osmo Mobile 3 and DJI OM 4/DJI OM 4 SE: Press the M Button, Shutter/Record Button, and Trigger simultaneously to reset the Bluetooth connection.

Osmo Mobile 6、Osmo Mobile SE、DJI OM 5:Press the Switch Button, Shutter/Record Button, and Trigger simultaneously to reset the Bluetooth connection.

 

Possible Cause of Issue

If there is no response when pressing the shutter button on the product:

There is an error with the device’s shutter button.

 

Solution

If the issue persists after restarting the Osmo Mobile series device, please contact DJI Support for help.

 

Possible Cause of Issue

If the captured or recorded photos/videos cannot be saved:

The mobile device’s storage space is insufficient, or the app’s storage permission is not enabled.

 

Solution

Enable the DJI Mimo app’s storage permission on the mobile device, and clear space on your mobile device if space is insufficient.
