Osmo Mobile Series

Issue Description

1. The target is not easily recognized or cannot be recognized.

2. The target is easy to lose, for example, the target is lost while walking.

3. After ActiveTrack is enabled, the gimbal rotates irregularly without tracking the target.

Possible Cause of Issue

1. The tracked target is not a person or the target is too far away.

2. The shooting environment does not meet the following conditions.

3. There is an error with the performance of the mobile device.

4. Incompatible mobile devices cause tracking failure.

Solutions

1. Properly select the tracking subject and distance.

1) It is recommended that you select a human body as the tracking target. If the tracking target is other objects, recognition and tracking may fail.

2) Select a suitable distance. When head and shoulder tracking is used, the effective distance between the back camera and gesture is 0.5 meters to 4 meters. For face tracking, the distance between the front camera and gesture is 0.5 meters to 2 meters.

2. ActiveTrack should be used in an environment with sufficient light. If the light is insufficient, the target will not be recognized. The background and the tracking subject need to have a clear contrast. For example, if the background is dark, the subject should be light.

3. If the mobile device is overheating significantly, the tracking result will be affected. If the gimbal moves erratically or the tracking is stuck, it is recommended to cool down the mobile device before tracking.

4. It is recommended to use mobile devices from the compatible device list. Click here for more information.
