Osmo Pocket 3

When the Osmo Pocket 3 is in Photo or Video mode, within the camera view, double-tap on an object in the frame to select it as the tracking target. The gimbal camera will then automatically follow the selected target. To stop the tracking, simply press the 5D joystick or tap the screen.

The following instructions take DJI Pocket 2 as an example to introduce how to use the ActiveTrack function.

Using DJI Pocket 2 alone for ActiveTrack

1. Power on DJI Pocket 2 and place the subject in the center of the camera view.

2. Double-tap the subject on the screen. If the subject is a person, the gimbal and camera will automatically recognize the face and enter the FaceTrack mode. If the subject is an object, the gimbal will enter the ActiveTrack mode.

3. Press the Shutter button to start tracking, and press the Function button to exit ActiveTrack.

Using with the DJI Mimo App for ActiveTrack

1. Connect to a mobile device through a smartphone adapter and launch the DJI Mimo app.

2. On the left side of the camera screen, you can set video parameters (video resolution and frame rate) and choose whether to enable Glamour Effects.

3. In the camera view, drag a box on the screen and a green box will appear around the shooting subject, which indicates that the recognition is successful.

4. Tap the Shutter button to start shooting. To exit ActiveTrack, press the Function button on the DJI Pocket 2 or tap X in the green box on the screen.

When using the ActiveTrack function, if issues such as inability to recognize the tracking target and tracking target loss occur, you can troubleshoot by referring to FAQ about ActiveTrack with Handheld Products.
