Osmo Mobile Series
Osmo Mobile 8P
When a new firmware version is available for your device, DJI Mimo will proactively display a message, prompting you to update. Follow the instructions within DJI Mimo to complete the operations.
During the update, be sure to pay attention to the following:
1. Maintain the device connection: Make sure Osmo FrameTap is installed on the gimbal until the firmware update is complete.
2. Keep the app running: Make sure you stay on the DJI Mimo screen. Do not switch to other apps or turn off the phone screen.
3. Keep the network stable: Do not disconnect your phone's Wi-Fi or cellular network before the update is complete.
Osmo Mobile 8/Osmo Mobile 7P/Osmo Mobile 7
A prompt will appear in DJI Mimo when new firmware is available. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware.
- When there is firmware update available for the Multifunctional Module, install it to the phone clamp. During the update of the gimbal firmware via the app, the firmware for the Multifunctional Module will be updated accordingly.
- Ensure that the battery level indicator shows solid green before the update. Do not close DJI Mimo or switch it to the background during the update.
- If the update fails, restart DJI Mimo, reestablish the Bluetooth connection, and retry.
Osmo Mobile 6
The firmware of Osmo Mobile 6 must be updated through the DJI Mimo app. When a new firmware is available, a prompt will be displayed on the Home screen after Osmo Mobile 6 is connected to the DJI Mimo app. You can complete the update according to the on-screen instructions. Ensure that your phone is connected to the network before updating the firmware.
Osmo Mobile SE
The firmware of Osmo Mobile SE must be updated through the DJI Mimo app. When a new firmware is available, a prompt will be displayed on the Home screen after Osmo Mobile SE is connected to the DJI Mimo app. You can complete the update according to the on-screen instructions. Ensure that your phone is connected to the network before updating the firmware.
Osmo Action Series

A prompt will appear in DJI Mimo when new firmware is available after the camera is connected. Tap the prompt and follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware for the best experience.
Osmo Action 5 Pro/Osmo Action 4/Osmo Action 3/DJI Action 2
A prompt will appear in DJI Mimo when a firmware update is available. Update the firmware following the on-screen instructions to ensure optimal user experience.
- Before updating, please check the camera's battery level and ensure that it is at least 15%.
- The update will take approximately 2 minutes.

Connect Osmo Pocket 4 to the DJI Mimo app for a firmware update. If new firmware is available, you will be notified by DJI Mimo. Update the firmware according to the on-screen instructions. Make sure that the battery level of the camera is over 20% before updating the firmware. The update takes approximately 2 minutes.
Osmo Pocket 4
Connect Osmo Pocket 4 to the DJI Mimo app for a firmware update. If new firmware is available, you will be notified by DJI Mimo. Update the firmware according to the on-screen instructions. Make sure that the battery level of the camera is over 15% before updating the firmware. The update takes approximately 2 minutes.
Osmo Pocket 3
Connect Osmo Pocket 3 to the DJI Mimo app for a firmware update. If new firmware is available, you will be notified by DJI Mimo. Update the firmware according to the on-screen instructions. Make sure that the battery level of the camera is over 15% before updating the firmware. The update takes approximately 2 minutes.
DJI Pocket 2
Insert a microSD card before updating the firmware of DJI Pocket 2. Before the updating, ensure that the battery level of DJI Pocket 2 is at least 15% and that the microSD card capacity is greater than 100 MB.

DJI Mic 3
1. The DJI Mic 3 receiver can be connected to your mobile device via the phone adapter (USB-C or Lightning) or wirelessly, allowing you to update the receiver firmware in the DJI Mimo app. After placing the receiver in the charging case, the firmware of the transmitter and the charging case can also be updated.
2. When the DJI Mic 3 transmitter is wirelessly connected to your mobile device, you can update its firmware via DJI Mimo.
If it fails to update, please reconnect the devices and update the firmware via DJI Mimo.

DJI Mic 2
1. Click here to Download the firmware update package from the official website;
2. Ensure that the receiver is powered off and the transmitter is on. Connect the transmitter or receiver to your computer using a standard USB-C cable;
3. Put the downloaded firmware update package (file with .bin suffix) under the root directories of the transmitters and receiver;
4. Disconnect from your computer, and the transmitters and receiver will start the firmware update automatically.
Note:
1. If the update fails, download and copy the firmware again and reboot the transmitters and receiver. Repeat until the firmware is updated successfully.
2. Remove the mobile phone adapter from the receiver before connecting it to the computer for firmware update.
