To connect to DJI Mic series, please follow these steps. For first-time users, there are also Tutorial Videos available on the official website for reference.

 

DJI Mic 3/DJI Mic 2/DJI Mic Mini 2S/DJI Mic Mini 2/DJI Mic Mini

Using with Osmo Pocket 4 Series

1. Swipe down from the top of the camera’s touchscreen homepage to open the Control Center > Wireless Microphone > TX1/TX2, and the camera will enter Bluetooth linking mode.

2. Press and hold the Power Button on the transmitter for two seconds to enable DJI Mic 3, DJI Mic Mini 2S,DJI Mic Mini 2,DJI Mic Mini, and DJI Mic 2.

3. Ensure the transmitter is powered on and in Bluetooth linking mode. If the system indicator light on the transmitter is green, press and hold the recording button on the DJI Mic 2 transmitter for three seconds to activate Bluetooth linking mode; the system indicator light on the transmitter will then blinks blue slowly.

[Note] For DJI Mic Mini 2S/DJI Mic Mini 2/DJI Mic Mini and DJI Mic 3, proceed directly to the next step. Press and hold the linking button to enter the linking mode with blinks blue and green alternately.

4. Press and hold the linking button on the transmitter for two seconds. The transmitter will begin searching for nearby Bluetooth devices, and the system indicator on the transmitter will blinks blue quickly.

5. When the Bluetooth linking between the transmitter and the camera is successful, the system indicator light of the transmitter will solid blue. The status "Connected" will be displayed on the camera screen. Press the linking button on the transmitter to start recording video, the audio will be captured by the transmitter. Press the linking button again to stop recording.

 

Use with Osmo Mobile 8P, Osmo Mobile 8, Osmo Mobile 7P, & Osmo Mobile 7

1. Use the linking button to wirelessly pair the Multifunctional Module with the DJI Mic Mini TX.

2. When linking is complete, the DJI Mic Mini transmitter status LED and the Multifunctional Module indicator turn solid green, indicating that audio recording is ready.

3. To adjust wireless microphone settings, go to DJI Mimo app > Osmo Mobile camera view > Multifunctional Module.

Note: The tracking kit for Osmo Mobile 8P is sold separately.

Using with Osmo Action 6/Osmo Action 5 Pro

Osmo Action 6/Osmo Action 5 Pro supports connecting two DJI Mic 3/DJI Mic 2 simultaneously via Bluetooth, enabling stable wireless audio reception and remote recording control. For more information on usage, please refer to the video below. 

 

Compatible with Osmo Nano

[Tip] Osmo Nano supports wireless connection with the TX of DJI Mic 2, DJI Mic Mini, DJI Mic 3, and DJI Mic Mini 2/DJI Mic Mini 2S products, and does not support connection via RX.

1. Swipe down on the Multifunctional Vision Dock screen, tap the Microphone icon - tap "TX1" or "TX2" to activate the linking function;

2. After powering on the TX of DJI Mic 2/DJI Mic Mini/DJI Mic 3/DJI Mic Mini 2/DJI Mic Mini 2S, switch to Bluetooth linking mode, initiate the linking operation, and wait until linking is successful.

Using with Osmo Pocket 3

Use with Osmo Pocket 3

1. Swipe down from the top of the camera view, then tap Settings > Wireless Microphone > TX1/TX2. The camera will enter Bluetooth linking mode.

2. Press and hold the power button on the transmitter for 2 s to power DJI Mic 3, DJI Mic Mini 2S, DJI Mic Mini 2, DJI Mic Mini, or DJI Mic 2 on.

3. After powering on the transmitter, make sure it is in Bluetooth linking mode. The system status LED should blink blue slowly. If the DJI Mic 2 transmitter status LED is green, press and hold the record button for 3 s to enter Bluetooth linking mode.

Note: For DJI Mic Mini 2S,DJI Mic Mini 2, DJI Mic Mini, and DJI Mic 3, press and hold the linking button in the next step until the system status LED blinks blue and green alternately.

4. Press and hold the linking button on the transmitter for 2 s. The transmitter starts searching for nearby Bluetooth devices, and the system status LED blinks blue quickly.

5. When the transmitter is linked to the camera via Bluetooth, its system status LED turns solid blue and Connected appears on the camera screen. Press the transmitter’s linking button to start recording audio from the transmitter, and press it again to stop recording.

Using with Osmo Action 4

1. Swipe down from the top edge of the screen to enter the system settings page, tap “Wireless Mic” > “TX”, and the camera will enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
2. Press and hold the power button on the transmitter for two seconds to power on the transmitter.
3. Ensure that the transmitter is in Bluetooth pairing mode after powered on. If the indicator of the transmitter is in solid green, press and hold the record button on the transmitter for three seconds to make it enter Bluetooth pairing mode until the indicator blinks blue slowly.

【For】DJI Mic 3 ,DJI Mic Mini 2S/DJI Mic Mini 2 and DJI Mic Mini, press and hold the Link Button to enter the blue and green alternately flashing pairing standby state.

4. Press and hold the linking button on the transmitter for two seconds, and the transmitter will initiate a search for nearby Bluetooth devices, with the LED blinking blue rapidly.

5. Once the transmitter successfully pairs with the camera via Bluetooth, the indicator on the transmitter will remain solid blue. The camera touchscreen will prompt “Connected". In this case, press the link button on the transmitter to start recording while using the transmitter for audio recording. Press the link button again to stop recording. 

Note:

1. The firmware version of Osmo Action 4 must be v01.03.07.10 or later. The firmware version of DJI Mic 2 must be v04.02.01.13 or later.

2. Osmo Action 4 supports connecting only one DJI Mic 2 transmitter. If you require two DJI Mic 2 transmitters for audio recording, connect the DJI Mic 2 receiver to the USB-C port of the Osmo Action 4 and link the transmitter to the receiver.

Using with the Osmo Action Series

Osmo Action 6/Osmo Action 5 Pro/Osmo Action 4/Osmo Action 3

Method 1: Connect the receiver of the DJI Mic to the USB-C port of the camera body using a Type-C phone adapter.

Method 2: Connect the USB-C port of the camera body to the USB-C of the DJI Mic receiver using a third-party USB-C to USB-C cable (with audio transport protocol).

 

DJI Action 2

Method 1: Connect the receiver of the DJI Mic to the USB-C port of the DJI Action 2 Front Touchscreen Module or Power Module using a Type-C phone adapter.

Method 2: Connect the USB-C of the DJI Mic receiver to the USB-C port of DJI Action 2 Front Touchscreen Module or Power Module using a third-party USB-C to USB-C cable (with audio transport protocol).

  

Using with the Osmo Pocket Series

Osmo Pocket 4 Series/Osmo Pocket 3

To use with DJI Mic, you need to connect the Osmo Pocket 4 Series/Osmo Pocket 3 body as follows:

1. Turn on the DJI Mic receiver and transmitter, and make sure the DJI Mic receiver and transmitter have been paired successfully.

2. Use the standard USB-C phone connector to connect the DJI Mic receiver to the camera's USB-C port, and the input volume bar will appear on the camera screen.

3. Press the transmitter's pairing button to record a video with sound from the transmitter radio. Press the transmitter's pairing button again to stop recording.

 

DJI Pocket 2

Use a 3.5 mm camera cable to connect the 3.5 mm audio port of the DJI Pocket 2 Do-It-All Handle and the 3.5 mm TRS output of the DJI Mic receiver.

 

Osmo Pocket

1. Connect the Osmo Pocket 3.5 mm Adapter to the USB-C port at the bottom of the Osmo Pocket.
2. Use a 3.5 mm camera cable to connect the Osmo Pocket 3.5 mm Adapter and the 3.5 mm TRS output of the DJI Mic receiver.

 

Using with the Osmo Mobile Series

Osmo Mobile 6/DJI OM 5

1.  Use a phone adapter to connect the mobile device with the DJI Mic receiver.

2.  Attach the mobile device with the DJI Mic receiver connected to the mobile holder of Osmo Mobile 6 or DJI OM 5, then balance the mobile device.

Check DJI Mic Mobile Phone Compatibility List, and the mobile devices listed have all been well-tested and verified.

  

Using with the Ronin Handheld Stabilizers

DJI RS 5, DJI RS 4 Mini, DJI RS 4 Pro, DJI RS 4,  DJI RS 3 Mini, DJI RS 3 Pro, DJI RS 3, DJI RS 2, DJI RSC 2. Ronin 2, Ronin-SC

1.  The receiver can be mounted onto the hot shoe port of a camera via the hot shoe adapter.

2.  Use a 3.5mm camera connection cable to connect the camera mic port and the 3.5 mm TRS output port on the DJI Mic receiver.

 

Using with the DJI Ronin 4D

1. Install the DJI Mic to the hot shoe of the DJI Ronin 4D top handle through the hot shoe adapter.

2. Connect the 3.5 mm TRS audio port on the Ronin 4D main body and the 3.5 mm TRS Output of the DJI Mic receiver with the 3.5 mm camera cable.

3. In Audio Settings, set Channel 1 and Channel 2 to 3.5 mm Mic.
