Osmo Nano Supports Vertical Shooting:
Ensure the Osmo Nano camera is set to vertical orientation before you begin recording.
Osmo 360 Series
1. Osmo 360 uses a square sensor, allowing you to shoot panoramic videos without changing the camera orientation. When editing in Mimo app and DJI Studio, you can adjust the aspect ratio to achieve vertical shooting.
2. In single-lens mode, you can select "Boost Video" and set the resolution to 9:16 to shoot vertical videos (2.7K/9:16, 4K/9:16).
Note: Supported only for firmware version v01.03.08.50 or later.
Osmo Pocket Series
Osmo Pocket 4 Series/Osmo Pocket 3: Support Portrait Mode. Rotate the screen to align with the device, or swipe down on the screen and set to "Lock Portrait,” to enable vertical shooting.
Tips: Portrait Mode supports a maximum resolution of 3K after landscape cropping. If you need to shoot vertical videos in 4K resolution, you can hold the device horizontally to shoot.
DJI Pocket 2/Osmo Pocket: Hold the handle vertically and rotate it 90° to the left or right until the Screen displays the Vertical Shooting screen. The gimbal is now in Portrait Mode.
Osmo Mobile Series
Osmo Mobile 8P
Switch via Osmo FrameTap: Power on Osmo FrameTap and tap the Portrait/Landscape Switch icon for switching.
Osmo Mobile 8/Osmo Mobile 7P/Osmo Mobile 7/Osmo Mobile 6/Osmo Mobile SE/DJI OM 5
Press the Switch button twice to switch between Landscape and Portrait mode.

DJI OM 4/DJI OM 4 SE
Press the M button twice to switch between two orientations.
Osmo Action Series
Osmo Action 6
You can shoot portrait mode by adjusting the aspect ratio.
Set the path: In video mode, [swipe up to open the menu > Tap the frame ratio icon > Select Portrait Mode].
Osmo Action 5 Pro/Osmo Action 4 & Osmo Action 3
The horizontal-vertical protective frame lets you switch things up and shoot vertical within seconds. Just detach the camera, rotate it by 90°, and reattach the camera.
DJI Action 2
Method 1: Enter the main camera, slide down the screen to enter the setting menu, turn off the "Orientation Lock", then rotate the camera 90° to the left and right and place or hold it to achieve vertical shooting.
Method 2 (Only be set with resolutions that support HorizonSteady):
When the DJI Action 2 needs to be used with the magnetic headband or magnetic lanyard, the camera unit cannot be kept from rotating by 90° during recording due to the restriction of the magnetic connection position, please follow the steps below for setting the device:
1. Disable HorizonSteady and Orientation Lock, and rotate the camera to the left or right side by 90° for placement.
2. After keeping the camera in a lateral direction, enable Orientation Lock and HorizonSteady.
3. Then, rotate the camera unit back. You can see that the camera view will switch to being vertical and the recorded video is vertical.
