02 Preparing Your Device
2.1 Device Charging
Connect the USB-C port and charger using the provided charging cable. It is recommended to use a USB-C PD charger.
2.2 Powering On/Off
After removing the gimbal clamp, rotate the screen clockwise or press the Shutter/Record Button once to power on the device. When not recording, press and hold the Shutter/Record Button or rotate the touchscreen counterclockwise to power off.
2.3 Product Activation
For first-time use, the camera should be activated in the DJI Mimo app. Click here to download the app.
Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on the mobile device. Open the DJI Mimo app, tap the camera icon on the home screen, and follow the prompts to connect and activate the camera.
2.4 Firmware Update
A prompt will appear in DJI Mimo when new firmware is available after the camera is connected. Tap the prompt and follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware for the best experience.
03 Product Usage
3.1 Rotatable Touchscreen and Button Functions

3.2 Shooting Settings
3.2.1 Setting the Shooting Mode
The camera powers on in Video mode by default. You can switch shooting modes by tapping the icon in the bottom-left corner.
3.2.2 Setting the Shooting Parameters
Swipe up from the bottom of the camera view to set the parameters for each shooting mode. Various parameters can be set in different shooting modes.
3.2.3 Setting the Image and Audio Parameters
Swipe left in the camera view to adjust image and audio settings, including Beautify, Glamour Effects, and Film Tones.
3.3 Gimbal Mode
The gimbal reduces camera shake during shooting with mechanical stabilization. Swipe down from the top of the screen to switch between different gimbal modes.
3.4 Intelligent Shooting Features
3.4.1 ActiveTrack
With ActiveTrack enabled, the camera automatically follows your subject, becoming your personal videographer.
3.4.2 SpinShot
With SpinShot enabled, when recording starts, the camera will automatically rotate 90° or 180° to capture footage, creating a distinctive cinematic effect.
3.4.3 Glamour Effects
· Beautify
Swipe left in the camera view to enable Beautify and adjust Smoothness, Brightness, and Skin Tone.
Tips: Beautify and Film Tone cannot be enabled at the same time.
· App Glamour Effects
When Glamour Effects is enabled, the effect will not be shown in real time on the camera screen. Connect to the app to preview it.
3.5 Connecting Accessories
3.5.1 Connecting to DJI Mic Series
The camera can connect to two DJI wireless microphone transmitters simultaneously. Click to view the supported wireless microphone models.
Note: The Creator Combo includes a DJI Mic 3 Transmitter that is linked with the camera before delivery.
3.5.2 Connecting Osmo Pocket 4 Fill Light
It is recommended to use the fill light when shooting in low-light environments.
Note: The fill light is not included in the Standard Combo and needs to be purchased separately.
3.5.3 More
· Osmo Pocket 4 Handle With 1/4″ Thread: Provides a more comfortable grip while shooting.
· Osmo Pocket 4 Battery Handle: Extends the camera's operating time.

3.6 Footage Storage and Export
3.6.1 Footage Storage
The camera comes with 107 GB of available storage and also supports expanding storage by installing a microSD card. Click to view the recommended microSD cards.
3.6.2 Footage Playback
Swipe right in the camera view to access the playback page and view captured photos and videos.
3.6.3 Footage Export
After shooting, you can transfer the photos and videos to your mobile device or computer for saving.

3.7 Powering Off and Storage
Before storing the camera, remove the fill light and wide-angle lens first, then power off the camera.

1. How long can Osmo Pocket 4 record when using its built-in storage?
The camera comes with 107 GB of available storage. At the standard bitrate, it can record and save up to approximately 600 minutes of 1080p/24fps video or 220 minutes of 4K/60fps video.
Note: The available recording time does not reflect battery life.
2. Is the Glamour Effects feature available both in photo and video modes?
The feature is available only in Video and Low-Light Video modes, not in Photo or other modes.
3. How much operating time can the Battery Handle add to Osmo Pocket 4?
When recording 1080p/24fps video, Osmo Pocket 4 can record for up to 240 minutes on a single charge. When used with the fully charged Battery Handle, the operating time can be extended by approximately an additional 150 minutes.
Note: Tested at room temperature of 25° C (77° F) and 1080p/24fps (16:9), with Wi-Fi off and screen off.
