1. Unboxing
Open the box and take out the product and accessories one by one. Make sure all items match the In the Box list, and inspect them for any visible damage.

2. Pre-Flight Preparations
2.1 Preparing the Aircraft
Remove the Gimbal Protector
Remove the gimbal protector before flight to prevent interference with the aircraft self-diagnostics and the normal operation of the gimbal.

Activate the Battery
Press the power button once to activate the aircraft battery and check the current battery level. Always fully charge the battery before each use.

Charging Methods
· Connect an official charger to the aircraft’s USB-C port to charge it.

· Use the charging hub to charge multiple flight batteries simultaneously.
Note: Charging is not supported while the aircraft is powered on.
Power On/Off
Automatic Power-On: Unfolding the right rear arm will power on the aircraft by default.

Manual Power-On/Power-Off: Press, then press and hold the power button for approximately two seconds to power on or off the aircraft.
Note: The Unfold Arm to Power on feature is enabled by default. The Fold Arm to Power off feature is disabled by default. You can enable or disable the feature in DJI Fly.
2.2 Preparing the Remote Controller
Download the DJI Fly App
The aircraft needs to be used with the DJI Fly app. The DJI RC 2 remote controller comes with the DJI Fly app pre-installed. If you use the DJI RC-N3 remote controller, you need to download the DJI Fly app to your mobile device.
Install the Control Sticks
Remove the control sticks from the storage slots and mount them on the corresponding positions of the remote controller.

Connect to a Mobile Device (DJI RC-N3)
Pull out the mobile device holder, take out the remote controller cable, and connect it to your mobile device. Make sure your mobile device fits into the groove and is securely in place.
Note: If a USB connection prompt appears when an Android mobile device is used, select the option to charge only. Other options may cause the connection to fail.
Power On/Off
Press, then press and hold the power button for approximately two seconds to power the remote controller on or off.

2.3 Linking the Remote Controller
The remote controller is already linked to the aircraft when purchased together as a combo, ready for use after power-on and activation.
To relink, launch DJI Fly, go to camera view, and tap "Control > Connect to Aircraft". Then press and hold the power button of the aircraft for more than four seconds to enter the linking state. The remote controller will beep twice to indicate linking is successful.
2.4 Aircraft Activation
The aircraft requires activation via the DJI Fly app before first use. Power on the aircraft and the remote controller, and then follow the on-screen prompts in the DJI Fly app to activate the aircraft. An internet connection is required for activation.
After activation, the aircraft is automatically bound to the remote controller used during activation.
2.5 Firmware Update
A prompt will appear in DJI Fly when a firmware update is available. Update the firmware whenever prompted for a better flight experience.
Note: Do not disconnect the power supply or exit the DJI Fly app during the update. After the update is complete, the aircraft will power off automatically. Manually restart the aircraft.
2.6 Setting Obstacle Avoidance
Launch DJI Fly, go to Safety settings, set Obstacle Avoidance Action as Bypass or Brake, and adjust the RTH altitude to be higher than the tallest building or obstacle around.
Note: In S mode (Sport), obstacle avoidance will be disabled automatically.
2.7 Notice
2.7.1 Pre-Flight Checklist
1. Remove the gimbal protector from the camera.
2. Make sure the Intelligent Flight Battery and the propellers are mounted securely, and the front and rear arms are fully unfolded.
3. Make sure the aircraft, remote controller, and mobile device are fully charged.
4. Make sure the gimbal and camera are functioning normally.
5. Make sure the GNSS signal icon is displayed normally before takeoff.
2.7.2 Flight Policies
Stay informed about the latest information on flight zones, flight restrictions, and requirements before flight. Strictly adhere to them while operating your aircraft.

2.7.3 Flight Environment
Although the aircraft supports obstacle avoidance, it is still recommended to fly in open, unobstructed, well-lit areas.
· Do not direct the aircraft toward people, animals, small or thin objects (such as branches or wires), or transparent objects (such as glass or water surfaces).
· Do not fly in rainy or foggy conditions, or when visibility is less than 100 m.
· Take off in an open area away from tall buildings. After takeoff, make sure you are notified with the voice prompt that the Home Point is updated before continuing flight.
2.7.4 Protecting Your Device
Camera: Do not expose the camera lens to an environment with laser beams, such as a laser show, or point the camera at intense light sources for an extended period of time, such as the sun on a clear day, in order to avoid damaging the sensor.
Intelligent Flight Battery and Remote Controller: Long-term storage may affect battery performance. To maintain battery health, it is recommended to fully charge them every three months.
3. Getting Ready for the First Flight
3.1 Takeoff and Landing
Auto Takeoff
Launch DJI Fly and enter the camera view. After completing all steps in the pre-flight checklist as prompted, tap the takeoff icon and press and hold the button to confirm. The aircraft will take off and hover above the ground at a certain altitude.
Auto Landing
Tap the landing icon and tap and hold to confirm. The aircraft will land and stop the motors. Auto landing can be canceled by tapping the cancel icon.

Manual Takeoff and Landing
The control sticks can be operated in Mode 1, Mode 2, Mode 3, or Custom. The tutorial video demonstrates the manual takeoff and landing operations using Mode 2.
Takeoff: Move both control sticks inward or outward simultaneously to start the motors. Once the motors start spinning, release the sticks and gently push the left stick upward to take off.
Landing: Pull the left stick downward to land the aircraft. After landing, continue pulling the left stick downward until the motors stop.
Controlling the Aircraft
Left Stick: Moving the left stick up or down changes the altitude of the aircraft and moving it to the left or right changes the orientation of the aircraft.
Right Stick: Moving the right stick up, down, to the left or to the right controls the forward, backward, left, or right movements of the aircraft.

3.3 Intelligent Flight Modes
FocusTrack
FocusTrack includes three modes: Spotlight, Point of Interest (POI), and ActiveTrack, helping you easily achieve professional tracking shots.
MasterShots
The aircraft will select a preset flight route based on the subject type and distance, and automatically take a variety of classic aerial photography shots, helping you effortlessly create cinematic footage.

QuickShots
QuickShots include multiple capturing modes (Rocket, Circle, Helix, Boomerang, Asteroid, etc.). The aircraft automatically records according to the selected capturing mode and generates a short video.

Hyperlapse
Hyperlapse takes a certain number of photos according to the time interval, and then compiles these photos into a video. It is especially suitable for recording scenes with moving elements, such as traffic flow, sunrises and sunsets, and clouds drifting.

Cruise Control
Cruise Control enables the flight speed to be locked, making control easier and camera movements smoother.

Waypoint Flight
You can set waypoints for different capturing locations on the map in advance, and then generate a flight route based on the set waypoints. The aircraft will then fly automatically along the preset route and complete the preset camera actions. The flight routes can be saved and repeated at different times to capture the changes over seasons at the same location.

Note: Waypoint Flight is only supported by DJI Lito X1.
3.4 Vision Assist
The vision assist view automatically switches to the corresponding vision sensor feeds based on the flight direction, helping you navigate and observe obstacles during flight.
3.5 Return to Home (RTH)
The aircraft features a smart RTH function, which can be triggered in three ways:
· Active RTH: During flight, you can trigger RTH by pressing and holding the RTH button on the remote controller, or tapping the RTH icon in the camera view and then pressing and holding the RTH icon.
· Low battery RTH: During flight, if the battery level is low and only sufficient to fly to the Home Point, a warning prompt will appear in DJI Fly. If you tap to confirm RTH or do not take action before the countdown ends, the aircraft will automatically initiate low battery RTH.
· Failsafe RTH: When the remote controller signal is lost for more than six seconds, the aircraft will automatically initiate Failsafe RTH.
4. After Flight
4.1 File Storage
DJI Lito X1 comes with 42 GB of built-in storage and also supports expandable storage via microSD card. If no microSD card is inserted, photos and videos will be saved to internal storage. See the list of recommended microSD cards.
DJI Lito 1 only supports microSD card storage. Make sure a microSD card is inserted before shooting. See the list of recommended microSD cards.
4.2 Exporting
Export via QuickTransfer
The QuickTransfer function allows for the fast transfer of photos and videos from the aircraft to a mobile device:
Export via Allow QuickTransfer in Sleep
By default, QuickTransfer can be used when the aircraft is in sleep mode. The aircraft enters sleep mode after powering off. The method for using QuickTransfer is the same in both power-off and power-on state, allowing for fast and easy media transfer without needing to power the aircraft on again.
Export via data cable or card reader
Connect the aircraft to a computer using a USB-C cable to export footage from the aircraft’s internal storage or the inserted microSD card. The aircraft does not need to be powered on during export. You can also remove the microSD card and use a card reader to transfer footage to a computer.
4.3 Storing Your Devices
Incorrect placement may compress the propellers, resulting in their deformation and a decline in propulsion performance.

No. Avoid contact with water during use. If it rains during the flight, return and land as soon as possible, and wait until the drone is fully dry inside and out before using it again.
