Charging Instructions

Charging Methods

Ensure a seamless flying experience by fully charging your Intelligent Flight Battery before each use. It is recommended that you use DJI's dedicated charging devices, including DJI Avata 2 Two-Way Charging Hub and DJI 65W Portable Charger. Alternatively, you can also rely on other chargers that support the USB PD fast charging protocol. Both DJI Avata 2 Two-Way Charging Hub and DJI 65W Portable Charger are optional accessories. For detailed instructions on how to charge your device, refer to the following content:

Precautions for Batteries

1. After the battery is fully charged and remains idle for three days, the auto-discharge function is triggered, causing the battery to automatically discharge to 96% of the battery level, and approximately 60% when idle for nine days. It is normal to feel moderate heat from the battery while it is discharging.

2. Fully charge the battery at least once every three months to maintain the battery health. Leaving the battery idle for an extended period will impact its performance, or even result in permanent damage.

3. For safety purposes, keep the battery level at a low power level in transit. Before transportation, it is recommended that you discharge the battery to 30% or lower.

For more information about battery maintenance, see Battery Routine Maintenance Guide.
