Install HoRNDIS Driver
HoRNDIS is an open-source USB tethering driver for macOS (Mac OS X) that is vital for proper firmware update and flight controller data export functionalities.
Following the installation of DJI Assistant 2, a system pop-up will automatically appear to prompt the installation of the HoRNDIS driver as depicted below:
In this window, enter your device password* and press the Enter key. Wait for the system to indicate "Process completed", and then restart your computer.
* When entering the password, the entry will not be displayed on the interface. If you enter it incorrectly, a "Sorry, try again." message will appear. At that point, re-enter the correct password.
After closing the "Installation Successful" page, you will see the page shown below:
Enter your device password on this page:
Press the Enter key, and once the "Process completed" prompt appears, restart your device:
After restarting, follow the path "System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General" to verify if the driver has been installed correctly as shown in the image below. If there is no "xxx app is blocked from loading" message or any other alert, it means the installation was successful, and you can use DJI Assistant 2 without issues.
Now you have completed all the installation steps and can use DJI Assistant 2 normally.
