What is the Gimbal Follow Mode?

The gimbal's pan axis and tilt axis follow joystick movement. In other words, the device will transform the joystick operator’s action into the corresponding action. The gimbal converts joystick movements into smooth pan and tilt transitions

Enter the Gimbal Follow Mode via DJI Mimo:

On Osmo Mobile 8P, you can switch gimbal modes from the Osmo FrameTap home screen.

Osmo Mobile 8、Osmo Mobile 7P、Osmo Mobile 7、Osmo Mobile 6、Osmo Mobile SE

Osmo Mobile 8, Osmo Mobile 7P, Osmo Mobile 7, Osmo Mobile 6, and Osmo Mobile SE can also be switched to gimbal mode via the handle M button.

Tap “...” in the lower left corner of the camera view.

After tapping the Gimbal Settings icon, tap “Follow Mode.”

Upon powering on, the gimbal defaults to PTF mode. Press the M button once to switch to PF, FPV, or SpinShot modes. Quickly adjust the gimbal to match your needs and capture every exciting moment.
