When the Advanced Pilot Assistance System (“APAS”) is enabled, the aircraft will plan the bypassing trajectory based on the user’s operation and surrounding environments, allowing it to bypass the obstacle easily and obtain a smoother flight experience and views.
Enable APAS
DJI Air 3S, DJI Air 3, DJI Air 2S, Mavic Air 2, DJI Mini 4 Pro, DJI Mavic 3 Series, DJI Mini 3 Pro.
APAS is enabled by default, and the default Obstacle Avoidance Action is “Bypass”. You can select “Bypass” or “Brake” in the app.
Tap the “...” icon in the top right corner to select “Bypass” or “Brake”.
Mavic 2 Series, Mavic Air.
It is required to enable APAS manually, and the aircraft’s obstacle avoidance behavior is determined by the aircraft. The Obstacle Avoidance Action cannot be set to “Bypass” or “Brake”.
Tap this icon to enable the APAS function.
Usage Precautions
1. When the lighting is insufficient or excessive, e.g. flying in an outdoor at night or directly in front of the sun, APAS is not available.
2. When pushing the control stick to bypass, press the Flight Pause Button once on the remote controller to stop the action, the aircraft will hover for three seconds and wait for the pilot to operate.
