The standalone product package consists of one pair of spare propellers. If the propellers are damaged, misshapen, corroded, or loosen, please timely replace them to avoid flight risks.

If spare propellers are not available, go to DJI Store for purchase.

 

DJI Flip

Propellers are already installed in the aircraft upon shipment. When the propeller is broken or deformed, please check the video tutorial to replace the propeller.

  

DJI Air Series

Unfold frame arms before installing the propellers. Note that unfold the front arms first and then the rear arms.

 

The propellers come in type A and type B. Not to install them reversely.

Attaching the propellers

1. Distinguishing the propellers

Distinguish between propellers by checking whether there is a mark on it.  

If the propeller is mounted in an improper way, the drone cannot take off.

① Without a raised mark;  ② With a raised mark.

 

 

2. Mounting the propellers

Step 1: Place the drone and confirm the orientation of the drone’s camera as shown below;

Step 2: Use the given screwdriver to mount the propeller with a mark to the motor;

Step 3: Mount the propeller without a mark to the motor.

Removing the propellers

Use the screwdriver in the package to untighten the screws and detach the propellers.

DJI Avata Series

DJI Avata 2

There are two types of DJI Avata 2 propellers, which are designed to spin in different directions (CW and CCW). Marks are used to indicate which propellers should be attached to which motors. Make sure to match the propellers and motors by following the instructions.

If the propeller is mounted in an improper way, the drone will not take off. Please see below for the difference between the propeller CW and CCW:

· Mount the propellers

Step 1: Confirm the orientation of the drone's camera as shown below:

Step 2: Use the given screwdriver to mount the propeller with a mark to the motor as shown below:

Step 3: Use the given screwdriver to mount the propeller with no mark to the motor as shown below:

· Remove the propellers

Use the given screwdriver to unscrew the screws securing the propeller, and then remove the propeller.

Attaching the propellers

1. Distinguishing the propellers

Distinguish between propellers by checking whether there is a white ring on it.  

If the propeller is mounted in an improper way, the drone cannot take off.

2. Mounting the propellers

Step 1: Place the aircraft as shown in the figure below and confirm the aircraft’s camera orientation.

Step 2: Place the propellers without white rings on the motors, press the propellers down onto the motors and rotate them counterclockwise to attach the propellers.

Step 3: Place the propellers with white rings on the motors, press the propellers down onto the motors and rotate them clockwise to attach the propellers.

Removing the propellers  

Press down propellers without white rings and rotate clockwise to detach them.

Press down propellers with white rings and rotate counterclockwise to detach them.
