Issue Description
After launching the DJI Fly or DJI GO 4 app prompts “Aircraft Disconnected” or “Aircraft not connected to RC.”
Possible Cause of Issue: The aircraft is incompatible with the remote controller
When the aircraft and the remote controller models are not matched, they cannot be linked for use.
Solution
Before using the aircraft, please confirm that the aircraft and the remote controller models match.
Possible Cause of Issue: The aircraft and the remote controller firmware versions are inconsistent
When the aircraft and the remote controller firmware versions are inconsistent, the remote controller will be unable to link with the aircraft to control its takeoff.
Solution
Taking DJI Mavic 3 as an example:
1. Check for updates
After linking the aircraft to the remote controller, launch the DJI Fly app. The app will automatically check whether the aircraft and the remote controller firmware version need to be updated. If an update is required, the app will prompt a message. For example, “New firmware update available for DJI Mavic 3”.
2. Update Process
Tap the update prompt to enter the updated interface. Tap “Start Update” to update the firmware. During the update process, please ensure that the mobile device is connected to the Internet.
Please do not power off the mobile device or exit the DJI Fly app during an update. After the update is completed, the aircraft will automatically restart.
When the app prompts “Update Success,” it indicates that the firmware has been updated.
Possible Cause of Issue: The aircraft is not linked to the remote controller.
When the Aircraft Status Indicator blinks yellow twice every two seconds, and the leftmost indicator on the remote controller is sold red (or blinks red), it may indicate a connection error due to a linking failure between the aircraft and the remote controller.
Solution
Re-link the aircraft by reference to Aircraft Linking Guide.
