Service Introduction

After purchasing DJI Care Refresh, you can have your product replaced for a small additional cost when it comes to accidental damage or flyaway*.

DJI Care Express is an option that DJI will ship a replacement product to you upon receiving the damaged after you have paid the replacement fee, which means you can get your product back quicker.

DJI Care Refresh currently allows a maximum purchase of 3 years. You can choose to purchase DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan) three times, or purchase DJI Care Refresh (2-Year Plan) at the first time and then renew with DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan).

DJI Care Refresh Series service includes the following two service plans, which you can choose according to your needs. For details, please refer to the Terms of Service:

Free repair service is provided by DJI if the covered parts are malfunctioning due to non-user error while DJI Care Refresh is within the validity period. Please refer to the Terms of Service for specific coverage parts.

All models Covered parts are eligible for official warranty when 1-Year Plan is within the validity period. Covered parts are eligible for official warranty when 2-Year Plan is within the validity period.

Exclusive Repair Discounts

If the main products or accessories are damaged during normal use or due to accidents, both the product and the accessories sent along for repairing are entitled to exclusive discounts within a certain quota.

At the moment, DJI Care Refresh is only available to customers in the U.S., Canada, EU countries, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and Mainland China.

First Purchase: The service plan can be purchased if the product meets one of the following criteria
      · Brand new and un-activated product;
      · Aircraft or gimbal product activated within 48 hours;
      · Handheld product activated within the last 30 days;

      · Submit Video Verification, and please purchase and bind the service plan within 72 hours of receiving the purchase notification after passing the video verification. Before shooting a verification video, please pay attention to the Video Verification Guide;

      · Submit an Online Repair Request to send the product back for inspection or repair, and you can purchase and bind the service plan within 72 hours of receiving the purchase notification.

Renewal: Renew DJI Care Refresh (1 -Year Plan) only if meeting all the criteria
      · DJI Care Refresh is purchased and one of the following criteria is met:  
          - DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan) has already been purchased.  
          - DJI Care Refresh (2-Year Plan) has already been purchased.  
          - DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan) and DJI Care Refresh + have been purchased.    
          - DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan) has been purchased and the 1-Year Plan is renewed.

If your product no longer meets the above criteria, you may choose one of the following options to get your product eligible for the service plan after the inspection is passed.

1. Submit Video Verification, and please purchase and bind the service plan within 72 hours of receiving the purchase notification after passing the video verification. Before shooting a verification video, please pay attention to the Video Verification Guide.

2. Submit an Online Repair Request to send the product back for inspection or repair, and you can purchase and bind the service plan within 72 hours of receiving the purchase notification.

3. How long can DJI Care Refresh be purchased?

4. Can I purchase DJI Care Refresh as my product is already activated for more than 48 hours /30 days?

You can choose one of the following options to get your product eligible for the service plan after the inspection is passed.

   · Submit an Online Repair Request to send the product back for inspection or repair, and you can purchase and bind the service plan within 72 hours of receiving the purchase notification.

5. Can I purchase DJI Care Refresh after my product gets repaired? 

You can purchase DJI Care Refresh after receiving the purchase notification sent by DJI.

6. Can I purchase DJI Care Refresh after I receive a replacement unit by using DJI Care Express?

The replacement product will be automatically bound to DJI Care Refresh of your original product, and the validity period of each service will be inherited.

7. After flyaway occurs, I got a product by using the DJI Care Flyaway replacement service or discount offered by DJI. So can I purchase DJI Care Refresh for the product?

There are two types of situations:

Replacement product by using the DJI Care Flyaway replacement service: Inherit the service plan of the original product;

For products without using the DJI Care Flyaway replacement service, the service plan can be purchased if the product meets one of the following criteria:

   · Brand new and un-activated product;

   · Aircraft or gimbal activated within the last 48 hours;

   · Handheld device (Osmo/Ronin Series) activated within the last 30 days.

8. Can I purchase DJI Care Refresh for the refurbishment product purchased from the DJI official website?

DJI Care Refresh can be purchased as a refurbishment product.

9. Can I purchase DJI Care Refresh if the product is out of warranty?

10. I haven't bought DJI Care Refresh before, can I purchase the service plan now?

If DJI Care Refresh is not purchased, you can choose one of the following options to get your product eligible for the service plan after the inspection is passed.

Renewing the Service Plan

1. Can I renew the service plan as DJI Care Refresh is about to expire?

Renewal: Renew DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan) only if meeting all the criteria
· DJI Care Refresh is purchased and one of the following criteria is met:  
   - DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan) has already been purchased.  
   - DJI Care Refresh (2-Year Plan) has already been purchased.  
   - DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan) and DJI Care Refresh + have been purchased.    
   - DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan) has been purchased and the 1-Year Plan is renewed.  
· DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan) purchased has not yet expired or expired within 15 days.  

2. Can I renew the service plan as DJI Care Refresh is expired?

If DJI Care Refresh is expired, you cannot renew the service plan.

Renewal: Renew DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan) only if meeting all the criteria
· DJI Care Refresh is purchased and one of the following criteria is met:  
   - DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan) has already been purchased.  
   - DJI Care Refresh (2-Year Plan) has already been purchased.  
   - DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan) and DJI Care Refresh + have been purchased.    
   - DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan) has been purchased and the 1-Year Plan is renewed.  
· DJI Care Refresh (1-Year Plan) purchased has not yet expired or expired within 15 days.  

3. I never use DJI Care Refresh after purchase, can I renew it for one year for free?

Temporarily not. If you purchase DJI Care Refresh and your product has not used replacement service during the term of validity, an additional 1-year extended warranty service will be provided for your product. What to Do After Purchasing DJI Care Refresh

 

Binding and Activation

1. The service plan is purchased together with the new product.

When DJI Care Refresh is purchased with the new product from DJI Online Store, DJI Care Refresh will be bound to your product automatically without any operation.

2. The service plan is purchased separately.
   · When DJI Care Refresh is purchased from DJI Online Store, it is required to input the product’s serial number first for binding.

   · After purchasing the activation code or DJI Care Refresh card from a dealer (the coating should be removed from the DJI Care Refresh card), click Activate the Service and follow the instructions to activate DJI Care Refresh within the specified time (* Specified time: The product is not activated/within 48 hours after the aircraft and gimbal are activated/within 30 days after the handheld products are activated). 

 

How to Bind the Activation Code or Physical DJI Care Card

After the activation code is purchased from a dealer or a physical DJI Care card is received, you should bind the service plan at the DJI’s official website before drone activation or within the last 48 hours after activation (Handheld device activated within the last 30 days): https://service.dji.com/care/active

How to Bind Aircraft and Remote Controller (For DJI Care Flyaway Service)

DJI Care Refresh only provides the flyaway replacement service for the following products: DJI Air 3, DJI Mavic 3 Pro, DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine, DJI Mini 2 SE, DJI Mini 3, DJI Mavic 3 Classic, DJI Avata, DJI Mavic 3, DJI Mavic 3 Cine, DJI Air 2S, Mavic Air 2, DJI Mini 3 Pro, DJI Mini 2, and DJI Mini SE.

For the above models, after DJI Care Refresh is successfully bound, it is also required to bind the account and remote controller with the aircraft in the DJI Fly app to enjoy DJI Care flyaway coverage.

International Coverage

   · Currently, DJI Care Refresh provides international coverage to Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo Action 4, DJI RS 3 Mini, Osmo Mobile 6, Osmo Mobile SE, Osmo Action 3, DJI Action 2, DJI OM 4, DJI OM4 SE, DJI OM 5, DJI RS 2, DJI RSC 2, DJI RS 3, DJI RS 3 Pro and DJI Pocket 2.

   · For the supported products which purchased from DJI official stores or any other authorized channels with a valid proof of purchase, you can enjoy replacement and warranty services, as well as the extended warranty service included in a DJI Care Refresh (2-Year) plan, at any DJI official or authorized repair centers that could provide DJI Care Refresh services once they confirmed your claim had met the service conditions.
