Preparations before backup
1. Make sure that the aircraft battery level is sufficient (at least 50%).
2. Make sure that the capacity of the computer's hard disk or other storage media is sufficient (at least 8 GB is recommended).
3. Remove the microSD card (Do not send the microSD card when sending your product back for repair).
Backup steps
1. Connect the aircraft to a computer using a USB cable. Power on the aircraft.
💡[Tips] the aircraft's USB port is often on its side or on the top. For the specific position, please refer to the User Manual.
2. After successful connection, two new drives will appear on the computer. One of them is the internal storage. Copy the DCIM file folder in the internal storage to the computer’s local drive or other storage media (such as a USB). The photos and videos taken and recorded by the aircraft will be stored in this file folder. However, LOST.DIR and MISC file folders are default configuration information, and no backup is required.
Common paths for photos and videos:
1. Storage path for all photos and videos: DCIM\100MEDIA
2. Storage path for panorama footage: DCIM\PANORAMA
3. Storage path for hyperlapse footage: DCIM\HYPERLAPSE
