If the app prompts a “vision system error” warning during the use, please refer to Aircraft Vision Sensor Calibration Instructions for further details.
If DJI Assistant 2 displays a "Calibration Failed" warning during the calibration process of the vision sensor, or if it is unable to complete the calibration, please refer to the following instructions.
Scenario 1: DJI Assistant 2 connected, but unable to start calibrating
Issue Description

Solutions
1. At this time, there is an error with the VISION driver. Please locate it in "Device Manager" and reinstall the driver named "VISION" or any driver with a yellow exclamation mark.
2. Open "Device Manager" and expand each dropdown menu one by one. Locate the driver named "VISION", right-click on it, and select "Update Driver Software".
3. Choose "Browse my computer for driver software" and then click on "Browse" to navigate to the Drivers folder located in the installation directory of the DJI Assistant 2 software (To quickly locate this folder: Right-click the DJI Assistant 2 icon - Properties - Shortcut - Open File Location).
4. Click “Next” and the driver will automatically install until an installation prompt appears. After the driver installation is complete, the yellow exclamation mark in the Device Manager list will also disappear.
5. Enter “Device Manager” and check if there are any drivers with exclamation marks (e.g., C1, MTP). If yes, reinstall using the same method.
6. After successful installation, restart the computer and connect DJI Assistant 2 again.
7. If the issue persists, try using another computer and install DJI Assistant 2 for testing, or contact DJI Support for further assistance.
Scenario 2: Screen turning white after clicking to start calibration, and unable to proceed with any operations
Issue Description

Possible Cause of Issue
It may be because DJI Assistant 2 detected an error in your monitor size, and you will need to manually correct it and re-run the vision calibration.
Solutions
1. First, create a TXT text file on the computer desktop and name it "TESTFLAG_SCNGETFAIL.txt". Then, directly copy and paste the file into the installation directory of the DJI Assistant 2 software (default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\DJI Product\DJI Assistant 2 For XXX) in the "DJI Engin" folder.
2. Run DJI Assistant 2 again and follow the instructions to perform vision calibration. At this point, the software will ask you for the size of your screen.
3. Manually check the screen size and select or input the screen size information. If the screen is 22 inches, please input: 22 (without units), then click “recalibrate”, and it is normal that the DJI Assistant 2 interface may freeze for a moment. Click “Exit" and then click "calibrate" to proceed again.
4. If you encounter the same issue again, please verify the model of your monitor and then search for the exact size of the monitor on the official website of the manufacturer. Once you have obtained this information, proceed with the vision calibration process once more.
5. If the issue persists, try using another computer and install DJI Assistant 2 for testing, or contact DJI Support for further assistance.
Scenario 3: Calibration progress stuck, unable to reach 100%
Issue Description
Once the vision calibration is completed, it enters to the calculation interface. However, an error message stating "calibration failed" may appear after a certain period of time, or it gets stuck at a specific progress percentage (such as 80%) without any further progress even after several tens of minutes.
Solutions
1. Please update the firmware to the latest version before vision calibration. For more details, check Updating Your Drone Firmware.
2. Please make sure you are using the latest version of DJI Assistant 2 for the corresponding product.
3. Please make sure you are using a flat screen. If it is a curved screen, calibration cannot be successful.
4. Restart the computer and aircraft, and try again.
5. If the issue persists, try using another computer and install DJI Assistant 2 for testing, or contact DJI Support for further assistance.
Scenario 4: Unbale to detect screen size
Issue Description

Solutions
1. Turn off DJI Assistant 2.
2. Please open and edit the “set_screen_size.txt” file under "DJI Engin" directory (path: C:\Program Files (x86)\DJI Product\DJI Assistant 2 For XXX\), then edit the content to "unknown" + "actual screen size", and then save it.
Tips: "unknown" and the actual size should have a space in between.
3. Rerun DJI Assistant 2 and perform vision calibration again.
4. If calibration cannot be completed, it indicates that the screen cannot be driven. It suggests that you consider replacing either the screen or the computer used for vision calibration. Alternatively, you can contact DJI Support for further assistance.
Scenario 5: lack or gray sensor view in the lower left corner during calibration
Possible Cause of Issue & Solution
In the lower left corner of the vision calibration interface, there will be a display of the image captured by the sensor. If the image turns black or gray, it indicates a sensor malfunction. Please send the aircraft back for inspection and click here to submit a repair request online.
Normally the image displayed in the lower left corner of the DJI Assistant 2 interface should appear as shown below:

If you have any other questions, you can contact DJI Support for further assistance.
