Charging Instructions
For your first use, use the provided USB-A to USB-C cable to charge the battery grip via the USB-C port. Activation is complete once the battery level indicator lights on.
DJI RS 4: It takes approximately 2.5 hours to fully charge the battery (measured with a charger supporting 18 W fast charging; it is recommended to use chargers supporting PD protocols).
DJI RS 4 Pro: It takes approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge the battery (measured with a charger supporting 24 W fast charging; it is recommended to use chargers supporting QC 2.0 or PD protocols.)
Activation
To activate your DJI RS 4 or RS 4 Pro, you need to connect the device to the DJI Ronin app. Visit the Download Center to download the DJI Ronin app.

First Use
Gimbal Installation
Before mounting the camera, install the extended grip/tripod and gimbal body properly. The gimbal installation process is identical for both DJI RS 4 and DJI RS 4 Pro. Please watch the video showcasing the installation process for DJI RS 4 Pro:
Camera Compatibility
DJI RS 4 supports a maximum payload of 3kg, while DJI RS 4 Pro supports up to 4.5kg. Please make sure that the camera lens and accessories installed are within the specified payload capacity.
