Announcement on deactivate the flight log synchronization “download” function

Dear DJI User,

DJI continually evaluates our data policy in line with market demands and privacy expectations. DJI has stopped offering the option for consumer and enterprise drone operators in the United States to sync their flight records to DJI’s servers in June 2024, and the flight records which users previously opted-in to sync on the server will be deleted.

FAQs

1. What impact does it have on me? Does it affect my normal flight experience?
You have nothing to worry about this update as it does not affect your normal flight experience.

2. After canceling the download feature in the Flight Data Center, will I still be able to view my flight records?
Canceling the download feature will not affect you to view the local flight records. However, if they have not been downloaded yet, they will not be available for downloading or viewing in the future. Therefore, please download them before canceling if necessary.

3. How can I download and save my existing flight records?

Before the download feature in the Flight Data Center is canceled, you can save all of your existing flight records locally by entering the Flight Data Center in DJI app and clicking the download button in the upper right corner. Flight records of your future flight will be saved locally in a direct way after this feature disappears.

Announcement on the deactivation of flight records synchronisation

Commencing on June 12th, 2024, this functionality will no longer be available within the United States, and any flight records generated within the United States will no longer sync to the app. You will still be able to access and manage your flight records directly on your local device.
