Issue Description
If you are unable to link DJI Avata Series drones with goggles, motion controllers, or FPV remote controllers. Consequently, the goggles fail to display the camera view, and the motion controller or FPV remote controller is unable to control the drone.
Cause of Issue 1: Incompatible Goggles or Remote Control Device
The drone is not compatible with the goggles, motion controller, or FPV remote controller used.
Solution
Before attempting to link, ensure that the drone is compatible with the goggles, motion controller, or FPV remote controller used.
[Tip] DJI motion controllers and FPV remote controllers cannot be used simultaneously.

Cause of Issue 2: Incorrect Linking Sequence
The drone is linked with the motion controller or FPV remote controller first, which prevents it from being linked with the goggles.
Solution
Follow the correct linking sequence: First, link the drone with the goggles, and then with the motion controller or FPV remote controller.
If the drone is already linked with a motion controller or FPV remote controller, power off the remote control device, link the drone with the goggles, and then re-link the drone with the motion controller or FPV remote controller.
Cause of Issue 3: Inconsistent Firmware Version
The firmware version of the individually purchased FPV remote controller is outdated, or the remote controller is not activated.
Solution
Check if the drone, goggles, motion controller, and FPV remote controller firmware is updated to the latest version.
If not, connect each device to DJI Assistant 2 and update their firmware to the latest version.
Refer to the following videos to learn how to update firmware for DJI Avata Series drones:
DJI Avata 2
• Using DJI Fly
• Using DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series)
DJI Avata
• Using DJI Fly
Power on the drone, goggles, and remote control device. Connect the USB-C port of the goggles to the mobile device using the USB-C OTG cable, run DJI Fly, and follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware. Make sure the mobile device is connected to the Internet during the update.
• Using DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series)
1. Power on the drone, goggles, and remote control device and individually connect them to a computer using a USB-C cable following the same steps.
2. Launch DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) and log in with your DJI account.
3. Select the device, and click "Firmware Update" on the left.
4. Select and confirm the firmware version to update to.
5. Wait for the firmware to download. The firmware update will start automatically.

Cause of Issue 4: Incorrect Drone Model Setting on Goggles
On the goggles, the wrong aircraft model is selected.
Solution
Users are required to switch to the correct aircraft model on the goggles. Confirm that the goggles are compatible with the drone, then switch to the correct drone model on the goggles. To do this, go to Settings > About > Switch, and switch to DJI Avata 2 or DJI Avata.
Cause of Issue 5: Incorrect Linking Procedure
Incorrect linking procedures have caused linking failure.
Solution
